Skateboarding is one of my passions. While I’ve never done the trick on a vert ramp, I love watching the pros grind across the pavement. Joe Vizzaccero is an up-and-coming skateboarder currently attending Illinois State University. He’s become one of the skateboarders we need to keep our eyes on. As a lover of extreme sports, I’ve always wanted to film a skateboard short. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to work with Vizzaccero during my time in Illinois. We did a two-day shot to produce this video. I call it “Skateboard Joe” because Vizzaccero performs tricks that seem only possible in video games. Plus, the gamer style would give the video a unique flare.
