Chan-Man’s Holiday Special is an album I created a few winters ago when I was snowed in a log cabin just outside of my hometown, Kansas City. I wanted to make a mix of classics with some new, hopefully, classics. For me, the spirit of the holidays is in the songs I grew up listening to. From ‘It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year’ to ‘Carol of the Bells,’ there is some magic in the air this time of year. I hope we capture that magic and share it with each other—or at least say Happy Holidays!

When making this special holiday card, I had no idea how many of you would have confidence in me to create a whole album. While I believe in my creative abilities, music producing (even with Quincy and Pharrell) is new territory for me. Also, if I’m putting out a WHOLE album… I aim to put out a good album (or at least a B+ album).
